Tuesday Tips: Mobile Verification

Recently some members have been asked to use their mobile device to verify their account when clicking on some BonusMail offers. This process was implemented to ensure that members are able to take advantage of some offers only ONCE.

If your account has already been verified using a mobile device, this does not affect you. If your account is not verified, then when clicking on certain offers under MyPoints Deals or via BonusMail, you will be directed login and to verify your account using your mobile device:

Just enter your mobile number where it says “Mobile Phone” and click the “Send Code” button. A verification code will be sent to your device which, when input, will verify your account. Once your account is mobile verified, you will not be required to do this again.

Please note that you can only use one account per mobile device and prepaid devices (or Google voice number) can not be used for verification.

Mobile verification applies to most MyPoints Deals offers. If the BonusMail offers Points for visiting the offer/merchant, you will still receive those Points whether or not you are mobile verified. You cannot, however, complete MyPoints Deals offers that require purchase without having your account mobile verified.
