Tuesday Tips: How Do I Update My Email Address?

Since email is the primary way that members get alerted to great offers, upcoming promotions and ways to earn Points from MyPoints, it’s important that your email address be up-to-date and functional.

Some ISPs and email providers can filter out messages they deem as “spam” even if the recipient has requested them. Whitelisting email addresses can help, but sometimes using a different email provider may be required in order to keep receiving BonusMail and other communications from MyPoints.

If you need to change your email address, it’s a fairly simple process:Log into your MyPoints account and select settings using the dropdown arrow next to your name in the upper right.

Select Update Email from the menu on the left.

In the “New Email Address” input area, enter the email you wish to use for MyPoints, and and then click the “Change Email” button.

You will then receive an email to confirm your updated email address at both your previous MyPoints email and your updated email. You must confirm by clicking through the email.

Once you’ve clicked through the confirmation email to confirm your updated email address, your MyPoints email will be updated.
