The chicken sandwich Twitter wars have come to a head with a man suing Popeyes. According to Yahoo! Entertainment:
“A Tennessee man is suing Popeyes over the “countless time wasted” while he tirelessly waited in line to score the popular crispy chicken sandwich that was sold out. And now he is depressed…
According to reports, Craig Barr of Tennessee, accused the chicken establishment of “false advertising, deceptive business practices by entity to public.””
McDonald’s is starting worker training programs to help address issues like bullying, sexual harassment and discrimination.
“The announcement comes after months of criticism of McDonald’s by its restaurant workers, who say they have experienced violence, sexual harassment and other workplace issues at both corporate and franchise locations.”

Fast food workers have to deal with long hours, low wages and unpleasant customers so it’s no wonder that the turnover rate can be as high as 150% for the industry. The Takeout reports on things the industry is trying to do to slow that rate given the cost averages $2,000 per employee.
