Friday Round-Up: More Fast Food Edition

Welcome to November! Let’s see what’s on going on the World Wide Web…

Need that injection of caffeine faster? Dunkin’ and Starbucks are installing new machines to expedite their coffee orders.

Speaking of Starbucks, they just opened a micro-store in New York’s Penn Plaza primarily to accommodate digital orders. Those who used Starbucks as a makeshift office will need to go elsewhere.

It’s the 40 year anniversary of Happy Meals and to celebrate McDonald’s is bringing some of the most popular toys in a special limited edition.

Happy Meal toys may disappear in a flash, but a burger and fries lasts forever–or over ten years, like the one a superfan has locked in a glass cabinet since 2009 which shows no sign of mold or decay. (The UK Sun reports that it “looks fine to eat,” but NOPE.)

CNN posts about what to do with your Halloween candy leftovers (Pssst…send them to me!) and Lifehacker has a round-up of deals for Sunday’s National Sandwich Day.

Bon appetit!
