Rewarding Moments: November 12, 2020

This week’s Rewarding Moment is another one that’s been inspired by the pandemic. It comes from Doug Barksdale who joined in March 2019.

This is his story:

“I discovered MyPoints in 2019. I was getting frustrated on the amount of rebate rewards I was receiving, so I started to search for better rebate sites and MyPoints showed up and I’m so glad I joined.

My favorite way to earn Points is through the Deals Section. I love the featured offers that you offer and the amount of Points you give away on some of them are unbelievable.

I work in the Arts and Entertainment industry for a company that specializes in concert and sporting events.

Since COVID hit, I have been laid off since May and it took over 5 months for me to receive unemployment because of the nationwide fraud breach in their system.

In those 5 months, I had no income coming in so I started to really focus on MyPoints and starting really doing surveys and online and in-store shopping trips, referring friends, and any deals for products or services that I needed.

Since May I have accumulated close to 150,000 Points and these Points have honestly help me stay afloat I redeemed most of them via Paypal and paid my electric, gas, cable, phone bills, and bought my daughter her school clothes.

Thank You MyPoints for saving me during this COVID nightmare.”
