This week’s Rewarding Moment comes from Cheryl Sundstrom who is coming up on 21 years as a MyPoints member (whoohoo! Go, Cheryl!).
She discovered MyPoints in April 2000 via a friend and her favorite ways to earn rewards is online shopping a Perks.
Here is her story:
“My rewarding moment came in the form of gift cards to a restaurant.
It was my husband and [my] 24th wedding anniversary. We were strapped for cash as he had just started a new job after being off nearly two years.
Not easy to find a job when you are in your 60s. Gift cards arrived from MyPoints just in time.
We truly enjoyed our dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. We didn’t know it then but it was the last anniversary we would celebrate together. He passed away before our next one.
There are many moments we tend to forget, however, that anniversary will forever be in my heart and mind. We would never had been able to do it without the gift cards. After dinner we were able to go listen to one of our favorite local bands and dance.
