This week’s Rewarding Moment comes from Stephanie Hahn who joined MyPoints in April 2008 (Happy 13 year anniversary, Stephanie!).
Thirteen years is a long time, so Stephanie doesn’t remember how she came to join our program, but her favorite ways to earn include “using the search and earning Points unexpectedly! Trying out each new Points-earning opportunity that MyPoints offers- like Bingo, most recently!”
This is her story:
“MyPoints turns daily moments and normal activities like making regular purchases online at places we normally shop into a chance to put a smile on someone’s face.
Through MyPoints, I have been able to surprise family members with items they’ve mentioned– buying household items to assist my family and creating a surprise “discount” for them by using $10 or $15 earned through MyPoints at places like Lowes, Amazon, etc.
This summer, I used MyPoints at Lowes to purchase new plants to use in front of our house. Our neighbors have all commented on how nice it makes the neighborhood look, especially as we were all home during this pandemic.
It really is heartwarming to be able to take a typical household purchase and defray some of the costs while making the days of others a little brighter.”
