This week’s Rewarding Moment comes from Vicky Bergstrom who joined MyPoints in October 1999 via a friend’s recommendation.
Here is her story:
“I’ve been living on Social Security for quite a while now. I purchased a home two years ago and my daughter moved with me because it’s better that I do not live alone.
Unfortunately, since then, our heating and cooling system went out. It was a substantial cost, so I had to charge it. That made it difficult for me to pay my mortgage.
My daughter stepped up and has paid the house mortgage for me for many months now. She wants me to be able to focus on getting the system installation paid off completely. I’ve been working very hard on paying that, and my daughter has made that possible.
Because of that, I’ve been able to save through MyPoints for three $100 gift cards to give her towards family groceries. I’ve been a MyPoints member for 21 years, and being able to earn these gift certificates and give them to her is My Rewarding Moment.
