Annie Alexander Peevy Miller: My tip is that if I am going to make a purchase, I always use score to ensure that I don’t miss points, but I also check the “Buy Gift Cards” to see if I can get a gift card to pay for the purchase I am going to make. Sound confusing? Check this example: If I am going to spend about $50 at Home Depot, I buy a gift card, and get points for buying the gift card, plus bonus points for it being $50. Then I get points for my Home Depot purchase, and I use the gift card that I got points for to pay. Win – Win! I do read the small print because a few places won’t give points if you pay with a gift card – so check that out first!
