Recipe of the Week: Apple Pie Oats

Oatmeal is traditionally a breakfast food, but this recipe allow you to enjoy the healthy, hearty goodness of oats for dessert! Plus you can earn up to 1,700 Points.

Ingredients

OPTIONAL TOPPINGS

  • Walnuts
  • Apple Slices
  • Ice Cream
  • Ground Cinnamon
  • Maple Grove Farms® Pure Maple Syrup

Directions

  1. Over medium heat, whisk together the oats, cinnamon, ginger, salt, milk, syrup, and applesauce until combined in a saucepot.
  2. Cook for 25 minutes or until thick.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour into a dish and serve with toppings of your choice.

Tips

Optional Cooking Method 10-12 minutes in a pressure cooker.
