This week’s Rewarding Moment comes from Mary McKinney who joined MyPoints in October 2006 after finding us via an online search for money-saving coupons.
Her favorite way to earn is Surveys.
This is her story:
“During the Covid epidemic money got so tight.
I have 2 children that I fostered after they lost both parents to the Drug epidemic when they were younger. As they got older my husband and I decided to adopt them which they were so excited about.
So we did this even though today I am 65 and he will be 66 soon. And we have a son in his twenties. My other two are now 10 and 12 . They were 8 and 10 when we became Mom and Dad for the rest of their lives.
Anyway, with the Covid panademic, money got so tight and Christmas would be here and I really did not know how I could afford gifts for my 2 children…
But then MyPoints was the answer. I ended up visiting and spending a few hours each day. I ended up with $325 in gift cards for Amazon which was great!
It was my most rewarding moment when I put the virtual codes in Amazon to pay for the gifts and Christmas morning when they were opened, I was rewarded again with the joy of seeing my children so happy and excited!”
