This week’s Rewarding Moment comes from Carol Reese who will be celebrating her one year anniversary as a MyPoints member in late November after being referred by her best friend Doreen.

This is her story:
“Upon losing my husband, father and mother all within a years time and experiencing the pandemic, I chose to retire early from my job.
Within 2 months of retiring my youngest daughter was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor at 24 years old.
Having only social security for income, I found myself needing extra money for travel, as my daughter lived 9 hours away from me. I also wanted to be able to provide my children with a gift for Christmas each year.
When my friend told me she was able to give her children gifts by doing surveys, I decided to try it. I have no regrets as this has proven to be very helpful for me.
Being retired, it also gave me something constructive to do with my time. With the price of gas these days, I was able to travel to my daughter and spend quality time with her as her caregiver when needed.”
