Recipe of the Week: Savory Herb Chicken

Fire up that slow cooker for a delicious chicken dish that can earn you up to 437 Points!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb small red potatoes (earn 3 Points)
  • 1 16-oz. package baby carrots (earn 3 Points)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced (earn 3 Points)
  • 2 1/2 lb bone-in chicken parts (earn 3 Points)
  • 1/2 lb mushrooms, quartered
  • 1 can whole peeled tomatoes, drained
  • 1 package Savory Herb Chicken Mix (earn up to 425 Points)
  • 3/4 cup water

Directions

  1. Arrange vegetables in bottom of slow cooker.
  2. Place chicken pieces on top of vegetables.
  3. Combine herb chicken mix with water and pour over chicken and vegetables.
  4. Cover and cook on low 8 to 9 hours or high 4 to 5 hours until meat and vegetables are tender.
