Her favorite ways to earn? “Shopping, surveys, downloading and playing games on my phone.”
This is her story:
I coordinated an adopt-a-family with colleagues from my office this year. I purchased the gifts online and received Points for my purchases.
When I combined these Points with those that I earned for Christmas gifts I purchased for my family, I was able to redeem for a $50 gift card to Gap which allowed me to purchase some additional items for my kids from Old Navy and Athleta.
I plan to coordinate the adopt-a-family annually going forward and I will be sure to take advantage of MyPoints on purchases to help stretch the money further and support larger or multiple families.
This opportunity to support a family at the holidays is really special to me because I was a single parent at one time and struggled to make ends meet and give my kids a nice Christmas. I was fortunate to have opportunities to learn and grow and I now have a good job where I don’t have to worry about making ends meet any more.
Helping another family is one way I can give back. The attached photo is a picture of the wrapped gifts for the family we adopted.”
