This week’s Rewarding Moment is from a member coming up on her one year anniversary with MyPoints. Caroline Jacobs joined on June 24, 2018.
Here is her story:
“I landed on MyPoints last summer when I was searching for ways to increase my United miles. I found MyPoints and ended up getting a bump in United Miles as well!
My most rewarding moment courtesy of MyPoints was using my earned Visa gift cards to purchase bus tickets for my last vacation. I’m always looking to save money on my trips and we saved $71.70 by using multiple gift cards to buy multiple train/bus tickets on our recent trip to Vienna (day passes for both of us), Bratislava (bus trip for the day) and Czech Republic (a bus trip to Cesky Krumlov).
It was much easier to make the decision to take day trips, when the money wasn’t going to hit our credit card at the end of the trip. I’m already thinking of how I’m going to use the next set of gift cards in Switzerland!”
