Gift cards are a great way to treat yourself to a night out at dozens of restaurants or to a mini shopping spree at your favorite retailer, but one of our most popular and versatile rewards is probably cold, hard cash via a deposit to your PayPal account.
There are a few things to keep in mind when redeeming for PayPal:
- It’s not a gift card or an eCard. When you redeem for PayPal, you are redeeming for a $25, $50 or $100 deposit to your PayPal account.
- You must have a VERIFIED PayPal account to redeem for this option and your MyPoints email must match your PayPal email.
- When you submit your redemption, you’ll be prompted to confirm your MyPoints (not PayPal) password.
- Please allow 3 business days to for the transfer to be completed at which time you will receive an email from PayPal letting you know you’ve received funds from MyPoints.
Once you receive the funds you redeemed from MyPoints into your PayPal account, you can transfer them to the bank account you have connected to your PayPal account or use them to purchase items from online retailers who accept PayPal.
