This week’s Rewarding Moment comes from Cathy Mastrangelo who has been a member for almost 19 years!
Here is her story:
“My name is Cathy Mastrangelo, and I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I first joined MyPoints.com on 06/03/2001, over 18 years ago. I do not recall how I was introduced to MyPoints, but I have referred several friends over the years.
My most rewarding moments came because I had collected several Gift Cards from Applebee’s Restaurant, and the reason I kept choosing their cards, over many other favorites, is so that I could treat my Mother to an all expense paid dinner celebration for her 96th Birthday at Applebee’s, which is her personal favorite.
I knew we’d have 15 or more friends and family members there to celebrate her 96th Birthday, and I acquired enough cards (some of which are pictured) to pay for the entire meal for everyone.
My Mother was probably the most impressed, but so were all others in attendance. I love going there also, and usually make it a point to stop at any nearby Applebee’s when I’m out and about, or especially when returning from a Doctor’s appointment.
Again, I felt very rewarded in being able to pay for the entire birthday celebration for my Mother’s celebration, and the happiness on her face was very evident. “
