Walmart has launched its own membership program to compete with Amazon Prime called “Walmart+.”
For as little as $2 per week, members get unlimited free deliveries, save on fuel (save 5 cents per gallon on fuel purchases at Walmart and Murphy stations), and use mobile scan and go to check out with their mobile device and save time when they shop in-store.
Walmart plans to add additional benefits in the future.
You can give the new program a free trial for 15 days to see if the benefits are worthwhile for your household.
If you decide to keep your membership, you can choose from an annual plan for $98 or pay $12.95 per month. The annual plan will save you $57.40 over the monthly billing and you can earn 5,000 Points from MyPoints! That’s like getting a $35 discount on your Walmart+ membership.
If you opt for the $12.95 monthly plan, you can earn $10 (1,750) worth of Points!
