This week’s Rewarding Moment comes from Marsha Breaux who joined just a little over a year and a half in July 2019.
She discovered MyPoints online and her favorite way to earn Points is by shopping.
Here is her story:
“During the pandemic I’ve used my Points to give to those who were suffering.
I have a co-worker who was diagnosed with cancer in April, just when infection rates were beginning to soar.
I talked to her on the phone in May and she said that because of chemo and a compromised immune system she was even more isolated than most. She said she felt not just alone, but forgotten and afraid.
When asked what I could do for her, she joked, “Can you bring Spring to me?”
So, that’s what I did — sent her a room full of flowers. Tulips, daisies, roses, orchids and more — lots of bright colors and tantalizing scents.
I used all my Points and cashed in on gift cards for florists and sent an amazing gift which lifted someone’s spirits, gave them encouragement and reminded them that they were valued and cherished.
