This week’s Rewarding Moment comes from Ranee Carley who joined MyPoints in January 2001 (coming up on 21 years!).
When asked how she first discovered MyPoints, “Haven’t I always been family? It was so long ago and I was a newbie at surfing the internet.”
Her favorite ways to earn are BonusMails and “the challenge of completing a survey for max Points.”
Here is her story:
“My favorite way to reward myself is to save MyPoints as long as I can for a Lowes gift card.
When I go to shop I put a lot of thought into how it is spent. My purchase has to be a family useful item.
I have purchased many things such as a portable radio and extra battery for use by the family at a nearby drive in or tools for our small shop. They have to be something that helps my family have quality together time.
This year has been a hard year but it got harder when we lost my Daddy and my son’s hero.
As I contemplated our next MyPoints use it had to really bring the whole family together and make us happy. So our rewarding moment was a brand new LED Christmas tree.
Without MyPoints we wouldn’t have been able to buy such an expensive tree. It is so pretty with its vibrant and colorful lights. This Christmas will be the hardest but with MyPoints it will be a little happier and make us smile for years to come.
