This week’s Rewarding Moment comes from Lori Pirochta who joined MyPoints in January 2006 after finding us online.
Her favorite ways to earn include shopping and surveys.
This is her story:
“I have a mentally challenged daughter who was in a facility for a while.
Things were expensive for me and my husband with 3 other daughters and a few grandkids to take care of, so anything we could earn outside of our regular jobs was a blessing.
The doctors said books would help my daughter with her mental health issues and increase her learning ability. Turns out she loved reading, It helped helped her stay calm and gave her something to do.
It was also expensive buying books.
Then I found My Points. I was able to buy her books with gift cards I earned on MyPoints. It really helped so much.
This made her very happy while teaching her in a fun way, also helped us buy lots of books when she needed them so badly. This picture is my daughter Rose with her favorite friend Barney.
