Tuesday Tips: Quick Fixes for Most Issues

There are a variety of MyPoints “issues” that can be solved quickly without assistance just by taking a few simple steps.

Many issues can be easily resolved by just refreshing your page. If a simple refresh does not work, try a force refresh which will clear the page’s cache and update the page with the most recent version. Keep in mind that there may be a lag between between our database servers and the website display so allow up to 15 minutes for an update.

If a refresh doesn’t resolve your issue, try a different browser! MyPoints works in most browsers but is optimized mainly for Firefox and Chrome. If you’re using a browser other than Firefox or Chrome, the site may not display or perform as well so if you’re having issues, try a Firefox or Chrome.

If you’re already using Firefox or Chrome, switching between the two may still resolve the issue as your browser settings or caching may be causing a conflict.

If switching browsers doesn’t resolve your issue, you may need to clear your browser cache and cookies. Many users prefer to avoid doing this as it will clear saved passwords and links, but it may be the quickest way to resolve your issue.

If your issue is that you cannot access MyPoints at all, please note that in absence of a maintenance notification or announcement on Facebook, the issue may be localized to your IP, ISP or device. We have tips on what to do if you get messaging that our site is not available.

If these tips don’t resolve your issue, please submit a request to our Member Services team!
