Rewarding Moments: July 30, 2020

Elouise Lord and great-granddaughter

This week’s Rewarding Moment comes to us from British Columbia, Canada and member Elouise Lord who joined MyPoints in 2002!

Here is her story:

“I first came to MyPoints by doing surveys for cash and I found the
MyPoints surveys rewarding.

Since finding MyPoints, I have done many surveys, watched many videos and earned a lot of Points which I have used on AMAZON to enrich my life.

I am now 72 years old and have redeemed my points for many things through getting amazon.ca gift cards and saving them up for special things I could not afford to purchase any other way.

Recently, my family blessed me with a new Great Granddaughter.  I was absolutely thrilled and wanted to do something very special for this special little girl. Retirement income not being particularly great, I turned once gain to MyPoints for help.

Firstly, I made sure Score was activated on my browser.  Then I tallied up my
amazon.ca credits, then I used MyPoints.com to go shopping for yarns to
make something truly unique.  I ordered the yarns I needed from one of
the stores that offer MyPoints for shopping and got the yarn by mail in
quick time from amazon.ca.

Then I got out my hooks and went to work. Soon I had a wonderful receiving blanket that was unique enough for my special girl and soft enough for her delicate skin to lay on.  The day came when I got to meet Violet, and I welcomed her to the family with her own special blanket.  That was my most rewarding moment courtesy of MyPoints.com

I love earning Points and saving them up for rewards and it is moments like that one that make it all worthwhile.”

Thanks for sharing your story, Elouise! We love being part of helping you to create such a special gift for Violet. In appreciation, we’ve added 1,500 Points to your account.
