Tuesday Tips: How Do I Know How Many Points are Available for Redemption vs. Pending?

The Point balance that displays in the upper right corner when you are logged into your account on MyPoints.com shows your total Point balance.

This is the same total displayed in emails from MyPoints–although what’s displayed in the email is the total Point balance at the time the email was sent which may differ from the total Points when the email is opened/read.

To find out how many AVAILABLE Points you have to redeem for a reward, you can:

1. Click on the total Points in the upper right to navigate to your activity ledger. At the top it will display the amount of Points that are pending. This number subtracted from your total Points equals the Points available for redemption.
2. Click on Redeem Points next to your Point total in the upper right. On the upper left of the page, there is a gray box which will say “You have XXX Redeemable Points.”
