Tuesday Tips: Why am I not getting MyPoints emails?

Not getting MyPoints emails? Here are some tips for making sure BonusMail reaches your inbox!

  1. Make sure you haven’t accidentally opted out of receiving MyPoints emails or BonusMail by checking your email subscriptions.
  2. Make sure your email provider isn’t filtering MyPoints emails to your spam, junk or trash folders. If you are a Gmail user, check the Promotions tab as Gmail usually filters offers like those found in BonusMail under that tab.
  3. Make sure you haven’t marked any MyPoints emails as spam. Doing this not only causes your email provider to filter all MyPoints emails to spam, but in some cases your email provider will submit an unsubscribe request to MyPoints.
  4. Verify your email address. Under the same sections as Update Email, you can verify your current email address. Instead of entering a new (or your current) email address, simply scroll down to the Click here link under where it says “Is [Your email address] your current address?” and click it. Doing this causes a verification email to be sent to your MyPoints email address. Clicking the verify button in that email reverifies your email address which can resolve issues where emails are not being sent/received.
  5. If you do not receive the verification email or you’re are still not receiving emails from MyPoints, you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider–especially if they are also your email provider.
